These terms govern use of saginawriverbasementwaterproofing.com, a site published by Marketing Doctor LLC. Using the site means accepting them.

A. What this site is. An advertising and information site about basement water in the Great Lakes Bay region of Michigan. It connects homeowners with independent waterproofing companies working in that area.

B. What this site is not. Marketing Doctor LLC is not a contractor and holds no Michigan residential builder or maintenance and alteration licence. It takes no part in carrying out, supervising, inspecting or pricing any of the work described here, and nobody on its side is qualified to. No page here should be read as an offer to carry work out.

C. The companies. Any waterproofing company reached through this site is an independent business. It is not an agent, employee, partner or subsidiary of Marketing Doctor LLC. Its work, its pricing, its licensing, its cover and its conduct are its own. Any contract you enter into is between you and that company, and Marketing Doctor LLC is not a party to it and does not underwrite it.

D. Not professional advice. The material here is general information about a region, not advice about your house. Soil conditions, water tables, foundation construction and local enforcement vary from parcel to parcel. Nothing here is engineering, construction or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed contractor or a professional engineer looking at your property.

E. Legal material. Ordinances, statutes and codes are quoted with their source and the date they were read. They are reproduced to help you know what to ask about, not as legal advice, and they change. Before relying on any provision mentioned here, read the current text or take advice. Where a fact could not be verified the page says so, and that statement should be taken at face value.

F. Accuracy and currency. Pages carry the date they were last checked. Reasonable care is taken, and no promise is made that everything is accurate, complete or current. Prices, permit fees, telephone numbers, office hours and code provisions all move.

G. Third party links and telephone numbers. Links to government, standards and trade sources are provided for verification. Those organisations are not connected with this site, do not endorse it, and are not responsible for it. Public office telephone numbers are listed as a convenience and those offices will not answer questions about this site.

H. Limits. So far as Michigan law permits, Marketing Doctor LLC accepts no liability for loss or damage that arises out of using this site, out of relying on anything published here, or out of any dealing with a company reached through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects any statutory right you have as a consumer, including rights under Michigan law.

I. Governing law and changes. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Michigan. They may be amended, and the effective date above changes when they are. Continued use after a change means accepting the amended terms.
